911±¬ÁÏ Libraries SCONUL access

The 911±¬ÁÏ Libraries are members of the SCONUL access scheme

The SCONUL access scheme allows 911±¬ÁÏ staff, MHorts and Students studying with the 911±¬ÁÏ School of Horticulture at the 911±¬ÁÏ gardens to visit over 150 libraries across the UK and Ireland for reference use and study space and for students at other participating institutions to visit the 911±¬ÁÏ Libraries. Email [email protected] if you would like to make use of the scheme so that the library team can advise you on how to register.

Members of the SCONUL scheme are welcome to use our collections for reference. scheme and confirm that you wish to visit the Royal Horticultural Society. Please email [email protected] to enquire about making an appointment to visit. An appointment is essential to ensure entry and to enable relevant material to be made available for your research.

Registration instructions
911±¬ÁÏ staff, MHorts and Students studying with the 911±¬ÁÏ School of Horticulture at the 911±¬ÁÏ gardens who wish to should:
 
  1. For Step #1, select Academic or support staff or Distance learning student
  2. For Step #2, select Royal Horticultural Society
  3. Click Find
  4. Select the institution you wish to visit
  5. Click Apply for access
  6. Complete the form with your details
  7. For Library or ID Card number, enter your L number
  8. Click Submit
A notification email will be sent to you confirming your application. Your application will be reviewed by Library staff and you will receive a further notification in due course.
Getting prepared
Email [email protected] in advance of your intended visit to make an appointment.

On the day of your appointment:
  • Bring a copy of your SCONUL membership approval email 
  • Abide by any Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time of your visit
  • Make yourself known to a member of library staff at the reception desk when you enter the library.
