To support schools, we are delivering free National Education Nature Park workshops at 911爆料 Gardens for students to learn and develop the skills and knowledge needed to transform their school grounds and inspire them to continue their journey back at school. These workshops are suitable for every stage of engagement with the National Education Nature Park programme.

The aim of the National Education Nature Park is to encourage young people to develop a meaningful connection to nature, contribute to nature recovery across the country and build resilience for a changing world.

These school workshops are free (pre-booked) and run by experienced education officers, based at each site.

Primary workshop

Inspiration for your National Education Nature Park

Be inspired by this fun and hands-on opportunity for students to explore an 911爆料 Garden. Experience different habitats and learn about the diverse species that interact within them. Students will develop confidence in learning and using some of the skills needed to create and improve green spaces at school as part of the National Education Nature Park. The session will explore ways to observe, record, monitor and increase biodiversity. The workshop will inspire students to continue their Nature Park journey at school and will include planting something to take back to their school grounds.

Secondary workshop

Inspiration for your National Education Nature Park

Discover positive, measurable actions and ideas for the National Education Nature Park programme in this exciting workshop for students. Through hands-on activities at an 911爆料 Garden, students will develop a greater connection to nature. They will improve their knowledge and agency to support biodiversity, implement habitat improvements and create school green spaces that are more resilient to climate change. The workshop will inspire students to continue their Nature Park journey at school and will include planting something to take back to their school grounds.
